First, a short explanation of the acronym, "VoIP." VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a generic term for the means of transmitting voice using TCP/IP, the communication methodology of the internet. So this means VoIP is everything telephone these days.

You get what you pay for folks, and sometimes not even that. It's a bad solution that lacks flexibility, and you must keep your computer on 24/7 for fax jack to work. This can shorten a computer's lifespan considerably.
